Have you ever considered your neighbours as part of your quality-of-life?
Are you concerned about the impact that global migration has had on the character of your neighbourhood? Perhaps you want to know how to maintain, bring back or establish that neighbourly feeling? Or maybe you’ve seen tensions rise and witnessed some unneighbourly behaviour? As our communities change to reflect different cultural perspectives about community, one thing remains true for all of us: the desire for a deep sense of belonging and inclusion. Join local residents in a genuine conversation about how we maintain meaningful connections with ALL our neighbours.
All Our Neighbours is a series of roundtable conversations that explore this intersection of neighbourliness and diversity across the Lower Mainland.
In preparation for the upcoming Roundtables, we are inviting residents throughout the Lower Mainland to help us determine what the key questions need to be. Get involved by voting for the questions or suggesting new questions specific to your region.
Round 3 Voting Period: September 11th - 19th, 2017 11:59PM
Tell us a story!
In conjunction with the Roundtables, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is gathering oral histories of families and individuals who have migrated to British Columbia. We hope to share these stories with all British Columbians, so if you have or know of a B.C. immigrant story, we would love to hear from you! Click below for more details.
